Yet again Urney Creations enjoyed a very creative and enthusiastic workshop on Sat 3rd Feb in The Regional Cultural Centre, Letterkenny. With the support and guidance from Donna, Chairperson of Donegal Art Teachers Association a group were gathered from all over Donegal to participate in Level 1 -Sitting Paverpol Sculpture Class.
Our venue was outstanding, with natural light flooding in from huge skylights and a wall of windows…..such a creative environment! After light refreshments we all quickly settled down to our task at hand. Soon everyone became engrossed in their creations and enjoyed the ‘reverse classroom’ situation for a change…..teachers were now the students!
With a very tasty lunch in Cafe Blend, the afternoon session soon revealed the WoW factor when their sculptures took form and colour!
