The pupils, staff and entire school community have been celebrating 40 years of St. Mary’s Primary School, Cloughcor throughout this year. Alongside many organised events a creative venture was undertaken to design and make a sculpture to mark the occasion for the school grounds. With the support and guidance of Gloria Perry, artist, Urney Creations, Year 6 pupils set to the task.
The energy and enthusiasm was obvious to all who saw them at work!
The finished piece ‘Collaborate to Celebrate – Working together to Achieve Success’ is proudly displayed in the school grounds.
