Kilcronaghan Activity Centre, May 2016

Driving over Glenshane, sun shining brightly, blue skies and outstanding scenic views – was truly feeling positive about the workshop ahead! It was indeed a very successful one. This was my first visit to  kilcronaghan.

The venue is outstanding, a stunning 19th Century House, nestled at the foot of the Sperrin Mountains, surrounded by beautiful landscapes, making it an ideal location for groups or individuals to meet, relax and explore the wonderful countryside and of course have an ‘Urney Creations Experience!’

After the usual ‘Meet and Greet’ over a cuppa, the group very quickly settled into a relaxed creative mood. Everyone became engrossed in their bespoke sculptures that it was the sheer hunger for food that we finally had to take a break for lunch!

Have a look at the photos to catch a flavour of our day – and indeed their wonderful creations.

A huge thanks to Lorraine for inviting me to facilitate the workshop and Jennifer who assisted my needs throughout the day.

Looking forward to seeing you all again in the not too distant future!
