Intergenerational Project 2018

Yet again their creations amaze me! Sculptures for home or garden made from recycled materials!

We have been facilitating this project for a number of years now with 4 local primary Schools;

St. Columba’s P.S. Clady, St. Theresa’s P.S. Glebe, Sion Mills P.S. ans St. Eugene’s P.S Victoria Bridge.

It is always a very special event in the schools year calendar. Stories were told, school day experiences from the young/old generation

were shared and yes….they had a wonderful time being creative too! This year we added colour to our sculptures and they truly took on a life of their own!

I would like to thank the Principals, Mrs C. Maguire, Mrs M. Gillespie, Mrs Oonagh Mc Nelis and Mr. Gavin Gallagher for

inviting Urney Creations to facilitate this wonderful project. And all the other members of staff from the 4 schools who helped in any way to make this such a successful workshop. Hope to

see you all again in the future for some
